The world has changed – almost overnight. Your team, who are likely used to meeting each other face to face on a daily basis, are now working from home - for many people, this is a novelty experience and some may be struggling to maintain their focus and keep everything on track.
Here are three things that you can readily do in our current working environment – which will keep your CRM implementation project on track
- Training - Training can be run virtually, almost as effectively as in-person. COVID-19 is a fantastic opportunity to extend your team's understanding of CRM so they can ensure that your CRM arises more robust than it was at the beginning of this year.
- Scoping and Solution design – once your team have a broader understanding of what your CRM technology offers to them, and to your organisation, this is a golden time to work together on scoping and solution design. Preceding your scoping with some education about what the technology provides – before it is configured – is hugely valuable. It avoids an agile project morphing into a fragile project – over budget and failing to deliver.
- Testing – it is surprisingly easy to run testing virtually. Test scripts can easily be shared and people can test from wherever they are.
I hope that these three ideas create opportunities for you to strengthen your CRM.
